These texture squares are not only simple and inexpensive, but they are so
colorful and provide house of fun!  The best way to make these is to
prepare them in advance, slowly adding a new set of squares when you
find bits and pieces of scraps.
Step 3
Let the games begin!  Let your child sort
through all the squares to find the matches.
All Done
Children have completed the game when
all their squares have a match.
Step 2
Make sure you've got two of each square
so your child can match them up.
Step 1
Hunt and Gather!  Keep a pile of your
squares in a ziploc bag until you've got a
good collection.  I use a lot of my sewing
fabric scraps.
  • Different colored or textured
