Hang your flag up in your classroom, or
on a pole!  Or you can write the pledge
of allegiance on the back.
All Done!
  • Read the Bill of Rights and talk with
children about what the Freedom of
Religion and the Freedom of Assembly

  • Pose a few questions to children: Why
    would other countries restrict peoples
freedoms?  Do you think you'd like it if
you were told you couldn't worship God?

  • Read about Daniel.  What did he do
when faced with a similar problem?
What did God do to protect him?
Step 1
Cut out the shape you want for your
window from black construction
paper.  I used an arch shape
Step 3
Cut your tissue paper into squares.
(Tip: Tissue Paper is cheap at Dollar
Tree)
Step 2
Remove the inner part of the shape
with a sharp pair of scissors.  You
can leave the outline as thick or thin
as you choose.
Step 4
Use a piece of wax paper the size
of your stained glass windows.  (We
did a few!)
Step 5
Using a paintbrush and some elmers,
glue your tissue paper to the wax
paper.
Step 6
Once you have a large enough
picture, glue your window frame to
the wax paper as well.
Step 7
When dry, cut out your window
alongside the edge of the frame.
