  • Ask children to think of something they are interested in or would like to draw.  They
can draw their picture, and you can either scan it and copy it for them on the paper, or
use this as an opportunity to use tracing paper, a light box, or carbon paper.
  • Additionally you can use the above premade printables for younger children if you want.
Step 1
Print a photo of your child in BW to
highlight the edges.
Step 2
Trace the basic outlines and shapes
that come through.
Step 4
Scan your image to your computer
and copy and paste it till you have
the amount desired.  Or have
children copy their drawing onto a
paper four different times.
Step 3
Go over your drawing with black
marker.
Step 6
Be sure and pick one color per
space and get those backgrounds
colored in too.

Andy Warhol is known for
colorful repetitive artwork.  This
is a great way for children to
draw simple faces, or objects
as well.
Step 5
Start filling in the drawing with bold,
bright and unusual colors.
Step 7
Leaving some white makes it
interesting as well.
