These colorful creations are not
only fun to look at, they are
sweet too! Children can make
these fun Moonscapes with
some sugar and a bit of food
coloring!
Step 1
Using your compass (or an upside
down dish) draw the outline circle
shape for your moon.
Step 2
Looking at a photo of the moon,
use your white crayon to fill in the
moon.
All Done!
Hang you picture up to enjoy!
Step 3
Dip a paintbrush in water and cover
the moon.
Step 4
Using your white crayon, press firmly
on your paper to make stars.  Make
them in any size and shape that you
like.
Step 5
Make a variety of different drops of
glue on your paper
Step 6
Cover up the glue with sprinkles of
sugar
Step 7
Drop food coloring on top of the
sugar.  It will be bright at first, but
will slowly fade.
