Oh, I have spent hours online trying to find fun biographies for my first grader. I wanted
something she would be excited about reading, and all I could find was boring black and
Imagine my surprise when I came across this series at Goodwill of all places! I'm so excited
because not only are these historical biographies, and not only do they have fun, colorful
illustrations and engaging text, but each one focuses on a specific character trait or "Value"
that can be learned from that individuals life story! Amazing find, and I'm loving the price of
these books too! There are a little over 30 in the set, and you can get them for $1-$3 a
piece depending on where you go.
