A page of resources we have used, or are currently using in out homeschool classroom.  I posted these to

This game is great for children who are
learning basic phonics and early reading
skills.  Children match up letter blocks to
word-ending blocks to create new words.
Great for hands on learning!
I made this set of journals to help my
reluctant writer expand some necessary
skills.  This is a cheep way to get a bit of
language arts in daily.

Here are some great ideas for children to
learn their spelling words with.  These are
all hands on so they are great for young
learners who are just beginning to start
exploring  early language skills.
We use file folder games to reinforce skills in
all areas and subjects.  Most of the games we

Fun.  You can find language learning games
by grade level.
Creating a Summer Reading chart is a
fantastic way to keep kids learning
throughout the Summer months.  Visit your
local library and stock up on fun books your
child is interested in.  Often times your
library will have their own Summer reading
program you can participate in as well!
