Spelling Day 2
Spell your words with letter tiles
Printable Letter Tiles.   Print
these on heavy cardstock and
laminate for best results.  Try to
have enough letters for children to
spell all their words at once.  For
younger children you can group
the letters they are going to need
so they don't search for hours on
end! (unless you want them to!)

-Write in sand or salt
-Write while clapping each letter
-Spell outloud in a funny voice
-Write them in chalk outside
ect....

Spelling Day 4
Use Letter stamps to write out
your words.  You can pick up a
nice set of alphabet stamps
from
Melisa and Doug.
Spelling Day 5
Get  out your spelling train and place
your words on the boxcars.  You can
use are printable boxcars, or cut
some index cards in half and use
circle stickers for the wheels.

Line up your cards in alphabetical
order.

Take your end of the week
spelling test!

Spelling Day 1
Read the words in your new
spelling list.  Talk about what
sounds you notice as you read
them.  Then write your words one
time each, spelling them outloud
as you go.
Smart Start Paper
I love using this paper for
my son, it is very easy to
see the sky, fence, and
ground when practing
lettering.
My son is Five years old as I write
this and he is KG-First Grade Level
something I wanted to incorporate
into his daily routine not only to
learn basic words, but to help
practice his handwriting skills as well.
Below is his weekly line up of Spelling
activities that we do.  I made up his
spelling lists based on some of the
topics I plan on teaching through out
the weeks.
