So, I never do this!
But I have absolutely ZERO (good) photos of my when I was pregnant with my older two children.

So this time I just had to haul myself down to JC Penny’s and get some actual Pregnancy Photos taken of myself.
I don’t know why I didn’t do this for the first two kiddos….
It always seemed so self-centered to me to go in and have photos taken of just me.
There is some part of me that is really, really, really shy…..and standing up by myself and being photographed just makes me want to giggle and hide.
I just can’t stand people looking at me……and seeing my “fake” smile….and all that stuff.
I totally wouldn’t have been able to do it if Hubby was there watching, I think I’d just faint or something!
Is that weird?
Probably, I’m sure I’ll get over it, we have been married almost 7 years now….ha ha.
But, anyway I managed to pull myself together…..long enough to get a few shots in. I got them sent to me via email, so the quality of these photos is very grainy, but at least I get to share them with everyone right?
So here you go….me at 38 weeks pregnant:

Okay, so it was totally worth it!
And now I want to go back and have more taken with Curly Hair!
I can’t wait to get the photos back so I can scrapbook them in our Baby book!

I totally love it!!! I just wish I looked that good at 38 weeks!!! LOL! Of course I never made it to 38 weeks – my twins were born at 35.5 weeks and my daughter was induced at 37 weeks! And I was a whale WAY before that time anyway!!!

I didn’t have these kinds of pictures made until my 4th for ALL the same reasons you mentioned!! Ha! So glad you did it. They turned out great!

After four kids you’d think I’d have gotten it down…but I was too embarrassed too. Even to ask hubby to snap monthly photos in the bathroom of me.

Way to go! I never wanted to get belly shots with Esme and now really wish I had. Usually you hear of the firstborn getting all the photos, so glad it’s working out for the latest little one!

I’m so glad to see pictures of you. I didn’t know you had long hair! I pictured you with short hair for some reason. My girls have long hair. I took a picture the other day of them with their long hair hanging down their backs.
