Sissy’s first day of first grade
Bubba’s first day of whatever.
(The boy has got a workbook and a house full of educational treasures….who needs a curriculum…..he’ll be fine.)
I had planned on taking lots of photo snapshots of our day.
However I spent most of the day holding Monkey.
And Monkey don’t like no Camera Competition.
(Serious, the boy won’t let me put him down….last night it got so bad that I strapped him in his carseat and put him on top of the dryer……….but there’s no way I’m going to sleep in the kitchen tonight.)
Anyway,
I did at least get this shot of Sissy’s newly decorated “Office”
(Here is the BEFORE SHOT)

Needless to say she loves the new additions, it’s quite a bit more inviting (as inviting as a hall closet can get really.)
And actually, I”m just impressed that everyone got everything done and we didn’t end up eating at Wendy’s or something.
Yeah and we even had time for after dinner baths! Amazing right!
Now to keep the momentum going for the next 40 weeks……
“I think I can, I think I can……”

What a cool idea – class in the closet. My daughter (8) wants to do her work in her bedroom closet now, rather than in the dining room which is also our school room. I like the dry-erase posters you have hung up – I’ll have to see about investing in a few of those. You are SO creative!
Thanks!
What a cute office! I love all the posters too. Have a blessed and happy school year.
Oh I really like her space! What a neat idea, I would have never thought o fusing a closet that way!
I’m with you Valerie … it’s that momentum that gets me after about 2
months BUT I’m praying and asking the Lord to guide our school
year!
BTW, it looks AWESOME!!!
I Love It!!!!
I cant even begin to tell you how much I LOVE and ADORE your site! So cute and organized and exactly what I’ve been praying for since God told me I would be home schooling! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to sharing your stuff with the rest of us!!!
