I have no excuse really.
Guess I’m just not the recuitment type.
But today I’d thought I’d share one of the bennies’ of being your child’s teacher, by giving you a little sneak peak, behind the scenes glance at one of the lovely endearing notes that I got from one of my STAR students:

Seriously?
“Because you’ve got 11 years left under my roof, and even your spell checker won’t recognize those words.”
NO….I would never say that.
But Seriously?
And you know,…..At First, I thought I’d remember this little lovely note as one of the Con’s of Homeschooling, but then I realized that I did get a little giggle out of it, so in to the Pro’s pile (and my keepsake box) it goes.
And now I wonder if anyone else gets Passive Aggressive notes instead of Apples on their desk in the morning?

Aww – that was just precious! Definately a keeper and a Pro!
Hahahaha!
I’ve got a note or two in my day…It’s so wonderful we teach our children to express themselves and to write sentences; and then it backfires on us when they write us a mean note. Just God’s way of keeping us humble, lol!
lol…i’ve gotten something like that before! I was looking over my
son’s math paper thinking…he did not do this right at all. Then on the
back i found this note…”mom, i do not now how to do ths.” I had to
laugh & yes i kept it as a keepsake :)
That is totally AWESOME. I have tears rolling down my face, from laughing. Not laging at your star pupil, but in that I think my 10-year old just transported to your house, left YOU a note like the one he left me last week, and came home in a flash.
That’s just awesome. I resolve to share one of my notes, too. Thanks for the laugh.
Well.. The positive is that he is communicating with the written word
to you. Even if the note is a negative. It’s how’s he’s feeling, and he
took the time to write it down, and not whine about it with his voice.
LOL!
Homeschooling Bonus! :)
Valerie,
Your response made me laugh so hard! I too have received some
sweet notes of encouragement from my boys. Gotta love it.
Thanks for making me laugh today. :)
