That’s when I saw this “Fine Art Gallery” and knew I had to make something similar. My version is not as fancy, we wen’t dollar store style for a little more color, but I think the result is just as fantastic!
First I picked out a bunch of frames at goodwill, and spray painted them all black using “Rustoleum Black Flat”:
I saved the larger frame for the “sign” and used some wall sticks from the Dollar Tree:
Then I took a black sharpie marker and wen’t around our last name to darken it up a bit….I would have done this for all the words, but I’m kinda lazy like that:
Then I arranged the frames on the wall under our new gallery sign:
Finally adding in the children’s artwork with a push pin so we can easily swap out the pieces as we want!
There is lots more room on this wall, so we might be adding more “artists” to our collection shortly!

What a great idea for keeping the house looking neat while proudly displaying the kids’ creations! I just might have to try that.
This is such a great idea! Is it a pain to change the pictures out?
I’m sure your kids love their art up on display in frames! Neat and really smart!
Rebecca, the pictures are super easy to swap out I removed the glass, and just tacked them to cardboard. I used 11 x 3 frames so that there is lots of wiggle room when we tack them up!
Blessings,
Valerie
